Meet core team behind Activepieces.

Ashraf Samhouri (Co-Founder & CEO)

I was only 13 years old in 2004 when I made significant contributions to an Arabic forum PHP software similar to vBulletin. This software, called VBZooM, was not being maintained, but my contributions revitalized it and made users incredibly excited. I named my version the Magic Edition, and I have no regrets about that.

Mohammad AbuAboud (Co-Founder & CTO)

I started programming early during my school days in 2011 by creating scripts for a game called Runescape. Later on, I developed an open-source bot for educational purposes and built a community around it. During my final year of school, I discovered competitive programming and dedicated around four years to training for it. I participated in the International Olympiad in Informatics and later formed a team at university. We trained together for years and achieved 1st place in IEEExtreme, we also qualified for the ICPC twice, in 2018 and 2021. My professional journey began with an internship at Google Persistent Disks in 2019. After graduating, I joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) I. A year later, I transitioned to Google Germany as an SDE III. And now, I have found a new opportunity at Activepieces.
